“Blood, Sweat but no tears!”

Phew…….It has been a long a stressful couple of weeks! All the paperwork, medicals, ECGs, licence tests are the norm in the sport, but never in my life time has it been made so difficult with a pandemic running alongside.

I have had many messages of support from fellow drivers, teams, mechanics, potential sponsors, friends and fans. Thank you very much for your support. You have pretty much all asked me the same thing………..

“So Natalie…. what are you up to today?”

Well, this was my last two Sundays.

I’ve been out of the driving seat for a while and so just getting my licence should have been relatively easy, instead it hasn’t proved the quickest. Mainly due to the worldwide pandemic many professional establishments are just not back operational so I was limited as to my choices.

That said, I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and I’ve had some fantastic help from the professionals in the game. I’ve also made some new friends and followers along the way. These businesses have made the past 2 weeks bearable for me with professionalism and turnaround. Thank you so so much.

Firstly, HUGE HUGE thanks to MSUK (https://www.motorsportuk.org). I am not actually sure how many times I needed to contact them but from start to finish they were absolutely great.

My ECG was last week, yet again, stressful but only the fact that due to Covid-19 and reduced operations I had to embark on a 700mile round trip to get it done! Thank you to Dr Mark Green Motor Racing Medics, Surrey.

Last but definitely not least thank you to Annette Freeman, Commercial Manager at Anglesey Circuit, Llandudno, United Kingdom at the fantastic Angleseycircuit.com for fitting me in ASAP.

One slight dip in the road, was I needed to re-sit the written ARDS test again – that was last Sunday and yes I passed !!…. nothing to do with my driving before you think anything!!
