Coincidence, Destiny or Fate?

Why do coincidences happen and what do they mean?

When I had to stop driving years ago, it was not just the driving I missed it was the people. Being in Motorsport is like having a huge extensions to my own family.

On a recent drive back from Anglesey, Wales last Sunday I was thinking about this quite a lot. I miss this extension and I’m looking forward to getting back with everyone, the banter, the encouragement and the support.

Last week, In the space of 7 days I had received two emails from two women. Two women I’d never met before nevertheless two women with special surnames names that mean a lot to me.

Lovell’ and ‘Freeman’

Coincidence, Destiny or Fate? I believe that this was a sign for me to keep going, stay strong and follow my dreams.

I have to admit I was pretty freaked out and a happy tear sprung to my eye! These two women came into my life at a very special time when I needed their help, they are also names of members of a Motorsport family and even more important to me probably of of the best people you would even want in the car. Was my guardian angel sending me a sign? Maybe it was a sign I was on the right path! If it was a coincidence, well it was certainly a happy one.

A good driver and co-driver relationship is hard to describe, the respect and trust is immense, and this week has been a reminder of that. I am lucky that despite the limited number in Sweden I know I’ll have some great support around me, but I’m a little sad my children cant be there …..  maybe next time and at least its live for them to watch on the TV !!
